I had the opportunity to attend for 5 years in my native country of Colombia the National University of Palmira, where I received in 1993 the degree of Zootecnia, an equivalent of a Bachelor degree in Animal Science with a major in Animal Handling in the USA. Acquiring knowledge in Animal Production and Management, Animal Nutrition, Animal Reproduction, Animal Health, Microbiology and Parasitology Animal, Economy, Statistics among others.

Hi there! My name is Jaimie. I'm an animal lover from Belgium who has been traveling all over the world for the past few years, which recently brought me to Illinois. I have a Master's Level University background in Animal Sciences and Psychology, and own three dogs that I take with me on my travels. While it's only been a year since I started working at Top Dog, I have been in the animal care field for quite some time now. In fact, prior to moving to Illinois, I have been a caregiver for all kinds of animals and facilities, ranging from domestic pets in community shelters, to exotic animals such as apes, monkeys, large parrots as well as otters in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries.

I have been working for Top Dog since 2018. I was raised in Saunemin, but now I currently reside in Pontiac. I have always had a huge heart for all animals. It brightens my day to see animals being well taken care of. I come from a strong background in the healthcare field. Being a care taker for animals and people has been very rewarding to me. I am excited to work with your animal and make them feel at home during their stay. II look forward to meeting you and your pet soon!

I fell in love with animals ever since I was little. I did not care what the animal was, I just wanted to pet it or play with it. I now work here at Top Dog and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The people here are great people and we will all take care of your animals like they were our own. I am wanting to get an education in a veterinary science field to learn more about the things I love.

I have been working at Top Dog for 10 years. I have lived and grew up in the country of Saunemin. I have grown up on a farm and have worked with animals my whole life. I grew up with dogs and currently have 3 dogs, and knew this is what I wanted to do for a job. This job has given me many experiences learning about animal care, ho to groom, and social interaction skills. My job is to provide care to your animal, but my goal is to make your animal's stay a happy and fun time. I am happy to have this opportunity to care for your animal and I will be looking forward to seeing you here soon!
