We offer you professional boarding services for both dogs and cats.

  • Top Dog owns 3 rooms for dog boarding, and can offer separate hosting for small, medium and large size dogs.
  • Your pet will stay in his/her own private space for meals and sleeping. Fresh water is provided all day long. Kennel size are  6'Wx6'Hx8'L and 5'Wx6'Hx10'L

  • We provide a raised kennel bed (or "ramp") so that your pet can lay up off the floor while in the kennel. The Ramp is a high-density, molded plastic deck that provides a comfortable, sanitary surface for dogs. Each platform is cleaned and sanitized between uses.

  • We understand it is sometimes a comforting feeling for your dog/cat to have a personal item from home while boarding. Please note that we will provide our own ramps, bowls and blankets to pets when boarding with us. Therefore, we ask that clients leave their personal beddings and bowls at home. Pet parents are however welcome to bring their slow feeder bowls and their pet's bed if they believe it will make their stay more enjoyable. We also allow clients to bring toys, bones or balls that they feel will provide their pet an extra comfort. However, for safety reasons, we ask that clients make sure that any balls/bones/toys they bring cannot be destroyed, ripped to pieces or swallowed. Please keep in mind that a dog might react differently while being boarded and may chew things that they would not normally chew at their own home. Because of this, we reserve the right to remove or to not use any items we feel may become a hazard to your pet while boarding. Additionally, we do not hold any responsibility for destroyed or lost items.

  • Dogs are taken out individually 4 times a day during their stay with us for exercise, fresh air and potty breaks (for a least 10 minutes each time). For safety reasons, dogs are not permitted to play together unless they are from the same family and are routinely housed together.

  • We believe dog and cats do much better boarding when they are fed with their own diet from home. Because of this, we require that pet parents bring their own food and treats when boarding their pet(s). If your dog has a particular diet and feeding schedule, please let us know so we can follow that schedule here. We won't interrupt the flow. Pets will receive food provided by the owner and fresh water on a daily basis. And our staff will make sure to feed your pet according to your instructions and schedules.

  •  We strive to meet any requests that our clients might have. Just like people, some pets might have special needs. Even if your pet needs his food heated in a microwave, we can do that at no additional charge. We do have a refrigerator, so if you need to bring perishable things like cheese, meatballs etc. , you are more than welcome to do so.

  • If your pets is on medication, please bring their medication in a pill container or baggie with their name on the outside along with written instruction: Name of medication and strength, dosage per day  etc. Please, let us know at drop off what doses have already been given that day, and the reason for medication. We DO NOT give insulin Injections.

  • Kennels are cleaned and disinfected daily. Top Dog uses specialized cleaners and disinfectants that are specifically designed for kennels and veterinary approved. We vacuum and mop each room every day and "deep clean" our rooms every time a pet checks out, meaning your pet’s room is always clean and safe.

  • We provide hygienic, stainless steel food and water dishes that are washed daily post-feeding.  At this time, we would prefer that you do not bring your own bowls or dishes, as we will provide our own. Also, please note that we do not allow any glass, ceramic or breakable items to be brought in with your pet.

  • The Boarding area is climate controlled- warm in the winter and air conditioned in the summer. Furthermore, each room is equipped with a air purifier system.

Boarding Requirements

We require proof of immunization for your pets. While we keep this information on file and will let you know when we need updated records, it is your responsibility to provide us with proof of subsequent vaccinations.

Pet vaccinations are an important part of a preventative health plan for your pet. Thanks to pet vaccines, your dog and cat can live a healthier and longer life. Vaccines help to build up a pet's immune system and to protect it from a wide range of diseases. Although they can make it less likely that your pet will contract a particular disease, they do not guarantee that your pet will not get sick: Just like a human getting a flu vaccine can still get the flu, vaccinated pets can still fall sick or contract the disease they received the vaccine for. However, while vaccines do not necessarily prevent disease, they will likely minimize the seriousness of the illness if your pet does get sick.
